Fixing OEM spoiler with fiberglass?

I know this is gonna sound kinda stupid, but I feel like I should ask anyway to hear some suggestions. My OEM spoiler is kinda broken right now. The screws came out of the base of the spoiler on the passenger side and with them, two gaping holes in their former places. Anyone ever have this problem before? I know this probably happened because someone tried to rip the spoiler off my car(Puerto Rico, this happens all the time) but didn't have time to take it from the left side. I have tried fiberglass, but I have no idea how to make it work for me. Any tips or any kind of procedure for placing the screws back in so I can attempt to put this thing back on my car? I need to get it done sooner or later to cover the holes in my trunk and I would really like to avoid buying a new one if at all possible. Suggestions please!

if i'm understanding you correctly....the hole in the trunk became too big for the screw to hold it in anymore? in that case, get a different screw that has a much larger washer and call it a day.

no..the screw stayed in the trunk as the spoiler ripped off..so he needs to place them back into the spoiler.
