Added new stuff to the car (MH1 and S-Techs)

Hey guys,

I haven't really posted any pictures of my car so I figure now is appropriate since I finally got some new things. First off, I finally lowered my car on some S-Techs I picked up several weeks back. (Car definitely needs a wash) I apologize in advance for the low quality pictures. These were taken from my phone.

Before:

After:

The springs are great. They ride similar to the stock springs with the exception of going over bumps. The car definitely dives less under hard breaking which is nice. This is my daily driver so I didn't want to do anything too extreme like coilovers. I'm saving up that for my next car.

Finally, I got my retrofit back from Greg (LFSoccer2k6). They're the updated Mini H1's. I'm using the bi-xenon feature with them. The bulbs are 5000K. He did a great job and I recommend him if you're looking a retrofit.

Here are some pictures of them on the car:

Some output pictures upclose (Fogs, Start-up, Fully on, High Beams):

Finally, some distance shots (Fogs, Regular, High Beams):
&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]"> &mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]"> &mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]">

That's about it for now. I forgot, here's what my car looks like overall:
&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]">

Nothing special. Everything is pretty much stock except for the usual LEDs and the steering wheel. I don't have any performance mods. I just want to keep this a DD until my future car. As for the future, I'm getting some sidemarkers next week. I'll post pictures of those when I get them installed. I'm planning to upgrade the speakers as well. Comments and criticisms are welcomed.

I would like to also say thanks to this forum as well as its members. All the major mods I've done, I've purchased from fellow members (I haven't done many though, LOL). I don't post much but I've definitely learned a lot browsing and reading the different threads.

Nice progress, keep it up . Get some aftermarket shocks too, if you haven't already. Your stance reminds me of when I was dropped on my pro kits.

Definitely man. Do you or anybody have any suggestions on some good brands? I know there's a sticky somewhere on dampeners and springs.

Thanks, I definitely like these wheels a lot. I was considering getting the '05 TSX wheels for a while but these came up while searching so I grabbed them instead.

It really depends on how much you want to spend, but anything other than stock will probably hold up better in the long run with lowering springs. I highly favorite the Koni yellows since they are both height & damping rebound adjustable. Other shocks that people here run are the Tokico ones, which I read many mixed reviews of good & bad about them . And if you ever get the lowering fever, you can get coilover sleeves if you have good aftermarket shocks.

Sounds good man. Thanks a lot for your input.

Haha, thanks. I no longer have to run my fogs with my head lights. At first, my fogs helped a lot in providing depth with my headlights. Now, they're barely noticeable except on the edges.

Haha, sure thing. They're nothing special compared to the other guys that have done them. I'll try to get them up at the end of this week. I'm finishing up my round of midterms. I just installed my sidemarkers too!

They're the OEM Silverstars. They look sportier than the old stockies that came with the car (someone buy them!!!). =D

Haven't had time to get a decent picture of the LED set-up. Will try too once I get a better camera...
