tossed the universal Alum. IC piping w/1000couplers

So iv been switching back and forth between bodywork/paint and engine/turbo work.

I started this project about 4+months ago on the passenger side.but today i just finished the drivers side.
reasoning due to fitting my 99 bumper back on.
some progress pictures.And also will be wrapped in black heat wrap.

*dont mind the miss color couplers.Ill be ordering some treadstone black ones to replace the 2 red ones used.*

all welded mild steel piping with hks flange

drivers side bend,very tricky

before blackout

sleeper status;

thats all for now..

Nice work. I hate the space for the driver's side pipe too.

Any way you could've made it more level? It looks like it's dipping down a bit, could just be the picture though.

yea i might be able to cut the pipe thats leading into the 45degree coupler at the intercooler to make it bend up more,because that pipe stil does hit the bottom of the bumper.ill look into it more today.

Why did you decide to black it out?

Thanks guys.I did go out today and cut the pipe shorter to make it level now.on the drivers side.
weird thing now is when i crank the car i hear air escaping for like 2seconds then its fine..but holds vac and holds my 7psi fine..so idk,Ill go back and recheck everything when the 4ply silicone couplers get here.

Because its less flashy.Going for a sleeper/sleeker appearance now.
Plus i think itl go better after the paint/body work is done with the new color choice.But if i wanna get it silver again i can either flip it around or just paint thinner and itl come off.
