cost to get false floor done..

how would it cost to get a false floor professionally done? any good shop recomendations in the so cal area?

hey matador, i was thinking about putting my amp under my rear seats in a flase compartment. I saw some guy doing something like that here....you think you could do that ?

It really depends on what you are asking the shop to do. If you can get an example of what you want, I can give you an estimate on what the shops will charge you. False floors can range anywhere from $200 to $1200.

ooohhh, very hard, and lots lots of time. i dont think i would have the time to do that. It would be very complex for me to do it too i think. i would do it if it were for my car, it's just a long and hard process.
i seen pics of someone doing it for a coupe, looked great, but they basically made new seats.

Here is a pic of my falsefloor.. in the trunk:



The enclosure has a fiberglass bottom, the other three sides are boarded up for covering. too me about 3-4 day to finish the work.

I am actually thinking about selling it: getting the itch to fabricate again.. think i may be addicted to fiberglass epoxy fumes if anyone's interested, shoot me a line. oh.. if blue is not your color, it can be easily revinyled.
