Oh wow That looks pretty damn hot. Im not too sure if id like it on any other colored car tho.

Actually this might look good.....Black car w/ silver wheels w/ this hood and silver vinyl decals...I could picture that.

BTW do these run as much as a regular CF hood or are they more cause their new?? And are they made for 6th gens yet??

It looks like it's just a cf lip for an 01-02 coupe, but I could be wrong.

I think the new hoods are nice, but I don't think they're for all colors of cars.

its kind of funny that this got posted up today....last night i was at out local bike hangout on thursday nights and a silver Hyabussa had what he called "aluminzied CF" for his windshield and it looks soo sweet. flowed very well with the silver color in the bike.

That hood would definatly only look good with certain colors of car...but its definatly cool.

i havent seen any yet for honda applications, as it just hit the vw world like, yesterday.

but im sure with enough interest those with silver cars can get them eventually.

i wonder if they can do a darker color for gunmetal cars?

That there may be just the pattern reversed on carbon fiber to show more gray than black. Carbon has both grey and black in it but there is more black in the common hoods. If anyone wants colors then its called carbon/kevlar.. They make about 10 colors but getting it to match your paint if kinda hard. Its always off a shade or two

ive seen this in person and its definalt ynot reversed...it looks like part of the weave was dipped in aluminum. its got a metalic look to it.

Maybe that hood is made of MMC (metal matrix composite), and not carbon fiber?

I seen a crx before with an orange CF hood before, it was painted the fibers were actually orange.

true...I couldn't make the fill pattern (the weave) too much smaller, nor did I even want to screw with lighting effects...I just wanted to get something up
