Panels (Window Controls)

Hello all,

I'm trying to remove the trim around my window controls on the driver and passenger sides and I can't get them out! I'm painting my bezel, shifter and those panels if I can get them out. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks (didn't have any problems with the bezel and shifter)!

You need to remove the entire door panel. First unscrew the door handle and remove the corner cover towards the front. Then, it's all held by clips, you just pull off and up and over the locks. The door panels are screwed in from the underside.

Hey, I checked out that link and I think I've confused you guys, I want to remove my control pod in my doors cause I wanna paint them, not the entire door panel. Also the pics in that link depict a sedan and I have a 2001 coupe and its looks like the control pod is partially underneath the door slit; does anyone know what I mean? I don't know how else to explain it. So, I hope this clarifies things. Someone let me know how to get those control pods off, cause I can't find a way....

REMOVE your door panel, as in my first post, because the "pods" are screwed in from under/inside the door panel.
