rattling from rear deck?

Well i took out my rear stage last night. I am getting alot more bass from my subs now that i have two 6x9 speaker holes vacant. The problem is when i turn it up i hear quite a bit of rattling coming from the rear deck. Any of you guys have this problem? Did you guys sounddeaden the rear deck? How do you keep the top cover piece from vibrating?

those rattling sound are so annoying. I was able to slow my problems with that, I use a foam spray on the side of the speaker and under the 3rd brake light.

I still hear some but its definitely not on the rear deck and I still cant figure it out where its coming. It sounds like a loose bolt with its washer vibrating.

i know where it is but im not telling

haha j/k

well what you're hearing is in the trunk. Look in your trunk and it should be on the right side, it's a plastic cover to cover the seatbelts.... just put some clear silicone on the sides of the plastics and it should stop rattling

listen... turn up the bass.. get back there, and try it for yourself. hold somthing with you fingers. if it stops the noise when you hold it, soundproof that part

ahehehe... I finally found the annoying rattle that's coming from my trunk. It may sound like coming neary by like the rear deck or somewhere near the speaker.

Guess where I found?

Its the stupid bumper!

Try to gently tap the lower side bumper near the wheel wells, it creates that weired sound that sounds like a loose bolt and washer. I inserted a block of stryofoam to make it solid.

Wheeew! Finally i could get peace of mind.

holy sh*t.. I have the exact similar noise.. mine sounds like a plastic/metallic loose washer like rattle... it doesnt rattle over hard bumps. just mini bumps... it has been driving me CRAZY!! What exactly caused your rattle? The bumper itself or something inside..?

Its the bumper itself. This has been driving me crazy for months too trying to figure out where its coming from. I tried tapping my side bumper just below the side marker light and holy S*** there it was. I inserted a block of styrofoam in between the body frame and the bumper and now its finally all gone.
