question bout DIY headlights

arite guys im at work ryte now...gettin off at 3 and i think im going straight home to do my headlights. couple q's tho.

i got a black sedan...i was thinking that if i do blackhousing it would be alil too much black on tha car. so im thinkin bout just clearen them...what do u suggest?

also...when am done either blackhousing them or clearing them out...should i just leave the amber signal bulb in there or did you guys get a diff. bulb? i was kinda wondering how it would look if i left it in. money is kinda tight ryte now.

and i hate 2 be annoyin...but when i pry the headlights apart is it possible to just replace the bulbs with brighter ones givin it an HID effect?

Personally, If i had a black car, I would black out the headlights, but not too much, just a tint. IMO though.

Bulbs? I'd get the chrome bulbs. img.gigabargains.com/images/auto/XC3056W_2.jpg but their kinda pricey though. Try to find some one ebay. They have everything for a cheap price if you look around. I changed my bulbs when i changed my headlights becuase its a biatch when you want to change the bulbs later on. *especially that one under the low-beam.*

you dont have to pry the headlights apart to change the bulbs, unless that one bulb below the low beam headlight. Kinda iffy to get to. Sometimes people can reach down there, but sometimes some people just take the bumber out just because of that one bulb. You can switch to ne other bulbs to get that HID looks, but they eat a lot of battery and they die fast... But its up to you if you want that or not.. IMO, i'd save up and get HID and some projectors.. They have some on projectors that come with HID's on ebay and you can do a retrofit, but its all up to you... Do a search around the forums, you'll learn a lot...

Hope i helped in some way. Ignore ne thing if i offended you, didnt mean to.
