Elemental e12k $135 each absolutely wicked sub http://www.edesignaudio.com/ep2/12k.htm you can buy it direct from elemental or get the 10s for $10 cheaper. Or if you really want some boom the E12O.44 for $195 each, absolultey demented driver for the price.

elemental O series

K series

as for amp, depends, if you want refurbished you get get ass stomping amps for under $400, if you want new your pockets had better get a bit deeper. Personally I'd get this amp http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18797 Xtant 1001 it's refurbed but has a 1 year warrant, and for $400(MSRP $1100) it's hard to beat for the quality of xtant. Here's another nice one, New orion xtr2400pro for $500(MSRP $1500) Brand new PPI PCX2400 for $500 that's ikes sound, great seller http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18796 Audiobahn A1200 for $389 from ikes http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/245

looking on ikes he has 12" L5 solobarics for $125($5 more for 12"s), 12" Alpine Type-R for $100, 1 mean ass audiobahn (AwT12x) for $260 http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/444 or the AW1205q which is still pretty mean for $160,

Tons of options, it's all up to you.

whatcha changing to?

I've only heard 3 different elemental setups, one setup with a pair of 12Ks, another setup with 10Ks, and one with a single 12O, all left a great impression to me, the Ks seemed like they had lighting fast response, just heart stopping kick drum kind of response, and very accurate, what so you think of them overall?

If you want a strong deep boom I'd go with a single 12O, but if you want rock hard tight bass and crystal clear I'd go for a pair of 10Ks, or 10Os. O series is more for SPL, K series is more for SQ but can still hang with SPL.

Nothing.. I'm going back to stock. Getting a new car end of this year hopefully.
The most impressive thing with the entry level K series was the minimal power requirements and effieciency of the woofer(albeit sealed) from just 250watts... The woofers love at least 1.0cu air (I settled on 1.13cu) space and the tightness and quickness of the suspension made for great bass that hit splendidly from 100-40hz. I varied several xover points and settled on 40hz which most ppl would think would make for a boomy bass but not with these woofers. SPL wise yes the woofer does lack when compared to my friend's 1.3cu sealed "O" series, but it still did raise the hair on the back of my neck from passages from the 5element soundtrack and bass drum heavy music. All of this from just 250watts... that impressed me overall... my previous 12" IDQ ported 1.34cu setup running the same 250watts.. the K series is easily a nothc or two above the IDQs when it comes to SQ and accuracy and even with SPL.

As for the guy interested, I dont think shipping will be outrageous... if you're serious we could work out a deal easily. ANyways let me know.

For a dream system, how about 3 JL 13.5w7's with a tarantula for each?

Personally I've always wanted an 18" sub (or 2 or 3 ) . Maybe a JL 18w3? I don't know who else makes them. It would definitely be unique.

Eminance has woofers used for PA...(same company that Adire Audio outsources for their Koda line)

As for a dream system: The main thing I would like is UPFRONT subbass... instead of retarded 6-7 15inch woofers blasting from behind...

2 12" IDQs in the doors ported into cabin, 8"midbass(human speakers) kicks ported into A pillar, 5" dome midrange(dynaudio) sealed, and mini-waveguide horns under dash(ID). TruTech copper series amps powering everything

I can send you pics of the sub. Best thing to do to reach me is to call my cell 732-598-3311. As for an amp... I've been using a JL 250/1 and it worked well for me. But any amp that can provide continuous power from 300-400watts will be perfect for this sub!
