i think it dependson the lip but as a rule of thumb its double sided tape and screws on each corner in the wheel wells and 2 or thres screws onthe underside of the lip, towards the middle. The OEM lip goes onw/out doublesided tape and it attached in the wheel wells and on the underside of the lip into the factory clip spots. Hope this helps.

my oem lip had a bunch of bolts underneath (2 of the were reversed, this means you would have to take the entire bumper off to get to the other two bolts. it had double sided tape along the middle portion where the lower grill is and it has two screws on each side of the lip where it attached to the bumper inside the wheel well.

if you put double side tape on the bumper, won't that damage the paint if you wanted to take it off?

unless its REALLY sticky tape it shouldn't. i had my lip taped on the bumper, i just used a hair dryer to warm up the tape a bit then it peeled right off, then just clean it up and u're good to go!

the double stick tape shouldn't be like crazy glue. just enough to hold your bumper in place. I don't have any screws on teh underside of my mugen lip, only the ones at the corners in the wheel well. I use double stick tape for the parts that is in the middle portion since it's not perfect and it does the job. I'm not sure about it being on a long time and how that would effect the glue bond, but i've taken it off and it was not a problem. used a little prep pad that they use in the hospital to take the sticky off.
