Molding SiR-T bumper and lip to OEM bumper

Well, here we go. going to be molding a SiR-T bumper onto my OEM bumper to create my new front end. This is gonna be more difficult than my molded WW bumper/lip project. This is going to involve lots of cutting, extending, fiberglassing, molding to get it perfect.

right off the bat i can clearly see that the SiR-T is significantly smaller than the US 6gen. our cars are much wider from the looks of the bumper fitment.

just for ****s and giggles i tried to mount the bumper itself directly to the car, not even close. the bumper bar keeps me from raising the bumper anymore than what you see here.

OEM bumper hacked off:

lining it up again just to get a better look:

now the part that almost brought a tear to my eye, cutting the expensive ass SiR-T bumper.

from what i can see, im going to need to cut the SiR-T portion in half down the center and widen it by a good 3-4 inches to get things to line up the way i want. and then extend the ends of the bumper by about 2 inches. and then fill the gaps with a significant amount of fiberglass to make it strong again.

ooooo the shyt i get myself into sometimes.

Ideas are easy, making them come true and be the sickest thing ever, let's just say we're gonna need a lot of liquor.....

Can't wait for this to be finished.

Props on the idea and starting the project.
