powdercoating

Can you powdercoat rims white? I know you can do different colors but i haven't seen white. I'm thinking about doing a white on white color scheme. Does anyone know how much it costs?

Yes, there is white powder paint...... we use it here.

You can get about any color nowadays..... gloss, semi-gloss, flat, textured......even custom blended..... not cheap though.

No idea on cost to get it painted at retail.

I can tell you that we, (the company I work at), pay about $2 per pound, and that a pound will cover about 28 sq. ft. at 3 mil thickness (a standard paint thickness), which works out to only about 71 cents/sq. ft. But that is wholesale, and in bulk.

In most ways though, it is a far superior paint, versus liquid paint. That's why it is being used more and more on the exterior of cars.
