Exclamation ORDERED 17's, NEED HELP WITH RIMS

Hey people , i have a lx v6 sedan, and i am sick of the plastic hubcaps. I was wondering if i should upgrade to 17 inch rims and tires, or just buy some some 15inch alloy rims for my car, and call it a day.
I searched and found various stuff on the negatives of larger rims, but i still need your help. So i posted a poll, please participate , also keep in mind that i prefer performance over asthetics.

UPDATE: I ordered the 17inch Tires, Please scroll to the bottom and read my last post, I really need your help, thankyou so much guys.

Guys thanks for your participation, but i don't want 18's,they have way too much rotational intertia, even light weight ones. That's why i set the 17's as the max limit. I just wish someone could post up the weight of the 15EX alloy rims for me,please

Plum, those rims look great, but i heard they are like 23 pounds per each rim , so wouldn't that hurt my low end torque a lot

yeah get atleast 17's or 18's... don't worry about your tq and all that stuff.. I don't think it'll matter THAT much because (i'm not putting you down here) I doubt that your car's a race car or very fast so i don't think the rim size will matter THAT much. when I got my 18's, I didn't feel that much difference then my stock 16's... but if you want that big side wall tires and like the look of 15" rims just get the oems....

either those TSX rims or the 6 speed rims would look hot, also since you have a sedan, the multi spoke TSX looks great. just search for pics of Jim's (NikonAV6) sedan, it looks really nice with them, and it wont be too bad because of a sedan.

because probably 90% of people here just want their car to look "phat" and "bling" and don't care if they get so bogged down with big-n-heavy rims that a run of the mill minivan can beat them off the line.

Well I think if your goal is performance, accord was a very bad choice to begin with. If you wanted a light fast car, go with a civic. It has much more potential than an accord. I think the majority of the people that get accords, get it for show and not go. But that's just my opinion.

ok, heres my theory on how to pick an aftermarket wheel size. i dont know if it holds true, but who knows ok, so youre ride comes with a certain size rim stock, so im guessing the fenders were designed to go along with that size. when you look for aftermarket wheels for an av6, it seems that 2 inches more than stock seems to work best, or at least as a minimum

5th gen v6 15" to 17"

6th gen v6 16" to 18"

7th gen v6 17" to 19"

it doesnt hold true for oem supplied wheels like cl-s, etc etc. maybe im just a loser with nothing else to do

sorry SteVTEC, not all of us on here are "racers" . we'd rather spend our money on making our rides look nice than waste money on engine mods, after all it IS an ACCORD. not the fastest car on the market.

dude, please don't put 15's on an accord. they look SOOO bad. 17or18 only. anything less will be too much tire and not enough wheel. whether you're a racer or not, you want it to look good right?

Here is the list for 17" I would suggest to pick one under $360 each :
Centerline RPM
17 x 7, weigh 13.6#, $290 each

Kosei K1 TS
17 x 7, 14.1#, $199
17 x 8, 15.4#, $219

SSR Competition
17 x 8, 14.5#, $359

Kosei and SSR available on tirerack.com and Centerline on centerlinewheels.com.

Good luck!
