Skyline Conversion Tail Lights?

So I'm still working on paying off my darn accord before i dump money into it. Not to mention w/ my payments i cant afford to mod anything quite yet

anyways, i was wondering if anyone would have an idea for a rough estimate on what i would plan on spending to add a Skyline tail end conversion to my car.

any ideas?

we're not losers like them

haha just kidding...yes we are..... =X
just kidding again.

anyways, i think the best thing for you to do would be to go to a body shop and tell them what you want to do

the body work and paint, etc will probably be over a grand depending on how extensive the body work is..the lights? i don't know the price of that.

i don't know if this helped..

appreciate it

I did some searching on the site, and came across a thread that had the info i was looking for in it.

He (i dont remember the name) said that the best thing to do is to go on ebay and bid on a set of Skyline lights, or order them from japan. Then take them to a body shop.

estimate: a little over 2 grand for the full conversion.

thats what i was just gonna say...between 2 and 3K with all the labor, assuming you get the lights for a decent price. I think even a serious hookup, with me helping Joe (black2001v6) and his friend with the body work, was gonna be nearly $1G

Nobody is going to give you an accurate price because nobody has done this except for Erica Lam, so everyone else's guess is just as good as your own.

shops used to charge 800-1000 for just the labor down here but last time i asked they bumped it up to 2gs just for labor...not worth it for a daily driver but if you got a full out show car go for it
