Computer Sub in Car?

is it possible to install your computer's subwoofer in the accord? cause i've got a sweet klipsch 5.1 setup on my computer....

yeah, im sure it is possible...but why? you would need to create a plug for the subwoofer to plug into an inverter like mastadulog said, since the sub probably plugs into the rest of the computer speakers in your home. then you need to figure out how to wire an amp (smalllll) to that computer subwoofer.

its not worth it.

5.1 setup. 5 speakers 1 sub setup im assuming. And aren't computer subs only like 4-8 inchs big so why would you want to put one of those in your car? Get real car sub.

I think computer sub have a bulitin amp so all you have to do is hook ur rca up to the deck and get a inverter for the power.

one time i took out my sub box and put in my home audio system's sub (200w 10" ported sony). it's nowhere near as good as my car subs. it works, but it's not worth it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA my friend did this on his like 1985 cellica, but he put the sub on the passenger side and he used the computer speakers and just double taped it on the dashboard, it was so ghetto, it works but it's so ghetto!!
