Need a definite answer!

What size tires should I get with 17 X 7.5 rims to definitley not rub!? Dropped approximately 1 inch drop. thanks let me know

225-45-17 more common size

You will need to know your offset too..its an important factor deciding whether your going to rub or not...

the higher the better bascially...like 45mm or 48 or even 51mm!


hope this helps..but with those tire sizes that Sir001 said..its good sizes...but offset of the wheel is important too!

Hello,

the offset of a wheel measures how much the wheels stick out the fender or not..

the higher the offset (ie: 42mm, 45mm and so on...) the more it will tuck (sp?) in...

the lower the offset (ie: 38mm,35mm and so on...) the more it will stick out off a fender..

basically we (by WE i mean accords) need at the minimum 42mm, some members here have 38mm or 40mm and does not rub...it depends too how much the car is dropped..most likely if its sport springs..its ok...if race, then you will rub!

u only got a 1 inch drop thats almost stock. dont worry about rubbing.
