how do you feed a wire through the firewall

I jabbed a coat hander through the grommet but it never came through. What's teh best way to fied wiring? I plan on installing 4 gauge amp wires. Will I need to drill into the firewall to fit that through?

Use a razor knife to push and cut the grommet. Once you get it started, use a flat tip screwdriver and push it through a couple of times. Use a little WD-40 or something to lube your line and then just push it through. If you cant get, go back to the razor and screwdriver and work it some more. Make sure you put a fuse close to the battery!!!
