Projector retrofit by Rich.

Unless I do the retrofit myself, I would go no other way beside my DIY OEM blackhousings.

Definitely get the TYCs, they look so hot, just look at Du3ce and aeugrx's sigs

And Plums car looks black because of the lack of light on that side of the car. The Black Currant Pearl color looks black at certain angles where the purple pearl isn't reflecting light.

BTW, nice sig Plum

It is purple, but very slight tint of purple.

Sexy color.

B2Topic, Either TYC[for looks and good performance], or 99azn's retrofit[for superb performance and clean looks].

Yeah, I realized its not S55. isn't S55 sedan the auto matic that runs 12s stock?

I can't find any information on that car..

Nothing in Edmunds.com look alike to that car. wtf?

lol, I see my name has been around a lot. Anyways, here is my own opinion. I strongly suggest retrofit if you want that sparkly, nice clean HID cutoff line. Most people I have talked to or have dealt with have gone or thought about TYC in the beginning and then seem to change their minds. If you go TYC, do you plan to go out HID with them? If so, that wouldn't be too logical because TYC is about $150+ and aftermarket HID to put in there is what.....$350+ for a good reputable HID kit? That's already $500+. Light output will look better, but still not as good as a real retrofit. Don't get me wrong, if you want to go that route, it's cool, but if you want the best lighting, why not spend about another $200-$300 more to get even better? You might not even end up spending THAT much more either, depending on what kind of deals you can find out there. Anyways, I have also done some research about the TYC's and it seems that there are a few out there that have leaking problems with them as well and that this is "normal". And do NOT get the aftermarket projectors because they have HORRIBLE light output. Even if you put HID in them. TYC's would be the only aftermarket projectors I would suggest if that's what you REALLY want. But if you want projectors, I strongly suggest retrofit. I'll be posting my latest one sometime next week and then another one in about 2 or 3 weeks. Keep a look out for it guys.

did you mean to say you raced the nsx and the SL55 and tied with them? or does that signature mean that you guys had a parking lot contest to see who can park better and you guys tied?

i've been dying to know. sometimes people will come onto the board and go "wtf? no way." and then do this: and proceed to leave the webboard.

most definitely. i was just honored to park next to them.

Just for the record, i parked a little front of them. So i won in the parking contest.

Hey, thats only time i'll be able to beat them.

example of tyc and hella bixenon

tyc with 4100k HID
beam pattern is kinda weird, not much light in the middle where you need it most. beam isn't that wide and side isn't that much lighted. when i went around the ramp, i couldn't see **** on my up comming conners because there wasn't that much light on the sides.

hella bixenon with 4100k HID

u can see this beam is Hella better then TYC w/hids... Very nice color on the beam pattern and the beam pattern is VERY sharp. Nice wide beam pattern that shines the SIDES of the road not like tycs.. I bent the shield littlebit to get more color out of them also so i get Very good "flicker" when I drive around and hitting bumps.. Very nice projectors.. Very big also.. with this you should get somewhat good idea between tyc/ other aftermarket projectors or oem projector retrofit.

for the retrofit? well, more then i wanted.. but if you could retrofit it your self here's kinda the price breakdown..
-headlights (got mine for 55 bucks unless you got your own)
-projectors (depends what you want but lets say 200)
-HIDs (300-350)
-Good wireharness with releys and crap (i paid 112 for it, from a member named Mnajera from HIDforum.com Very good wireharness)
-retrofit (it's free or you can let others do it for around 150 bucks nowdays,, if you do it, you'll need parts and time, but other then that it's priceless )

as for TYC's.. I got mine used for 350 i think can't remember

-tyc lamp (160 shipped from ebay)
-new hid h1 kit (up to 500 at someplaces)
-dremel hole (40 bucks? for a dremel if you don't have one)
-Fvck'd up dremeling (a new tyc lamps if you drop the shavings into the projectors or you can open it up and clean)
