I took my calipers off. I did not disconnect the brake lines, but I took the pads and hardware out and took the caliper off to reach everywhere.

I used the G2 brake caliper paint kit. Let me tell you, it is worth every penny of the $35 I paid for it.

Do you think it'll be possible to paint them without taking anything off?
[calipers, wheels still on. reach-in and paint with brush]

Haha, how hard would it be to paint leaving the calipers on?

It would be very hard. You would get paint on the rotor, pads and the brake hardware.

I've seen many doing with everything on, just wheels off.

One success one i witnessed is bud's RSX.

he took rims on, put everything on. Calipers, rotors.

Then he covered up the rest of newspaper, carefully inserted.

How it look? Looks beautiful as hell, no paint on other stuff.

He said its pretty damn easy. Not a legit way to do it, but works.
