Need bright BrIgHt BRIGHT amber signals

Well I used to have a full PIAA setup on my car. Lows, highs, signals, parking, and fogs.

When I got HID's that just completely screwed me up, ALL my PIAA stuff leftover looks almost yellow?!?! lol

My signals used to look crystal white...now they look like a white/yellow/amber color, damn HIDs! haha

well, either way that doesn't matter, you can't see my turn signals during anytime of the day when my headlights are on anyways....I'm not worried about cops pulling me over for white signals simply because they don't look white, I'm worried about cops pulling me over for not signaling altogether cus you can't see them!

Anyone know of some amber bulbs that are really bright, clean, and not amber colored when they're off??

I remember seeing Sylvania turning signals at Pep Boys the other day. Look clear/ion during the day and produce a amber color. I have no clue about brightness, but I'm sure they are great quality.

Yeah, I got the hyperblinker effect when I had LED signals....HATED it. So screw that idea. Plus I heard that it burns out your bulbs quicker.

How about some titanium tinted bulbs? I have them on my car and it looks more amber-ish than stock one though it is not brighter. Um... it is not brighter but color difference makes it more visible... in a way... and ya, no amber-ish when it is off.

Why don't you get sidemakers?

I had same issues with you. After my girl got me HID, my white LED turn signals are just.. NOT there.

I got pulled over, it was even at night. I was turning left, on the other side, she was coming opposite, and was watching me.

lady cop told me to make it brighter, she said white is ok, but not being bright enough is not ok.

I asked her If i get sidemarkers on the fenders where it will be visible from front too would it be ok, she said definitely yes.

So I got 'em, and since then no problem.

NOW, this is only if you are concerned about cops.

If you are also concerned about looks, get some ion colored Amber bulbs, and mess with wires.

i have the high-watt relay.

the blinkers are 2x the speed. it looks really bright and strong orange on a stock bulb. you can spray tint it or sharpie it and it'll be black while off, bright orange while on. i haven't had to change the bulb in years.

the biggest problem is that i have reason to believe it repeatedly kills LED dash lights. normal ones will work but as for LEDs blinkers, they'll all just die.

Those titanium tinted bulbs look almost red, I like them! What kind do you have and how much do they run??

I'm considering getting some 7 series sidemarkers from another member on the board....just need to find someplace to install them (don't trust myself with something that has to be precise, lol).

I really don't want to resort to doing a relay....simply because I'm dumb and don't know how, lol.
