Is there a way to get rid of this?

i painted my center piece taillight a few months ago with testors window tint spray and put a few layers of clear coat on it.
i tried using paint thinner to take it out but it didn't work.
if i took it to a shop, do you think they'd be able to take it out with some sort of chemical? would there be side effects such as less "glossiness"?

here's a picture of my centerpiece:

thanks,
-Nirav

PS. i wanted to paint the black part with nighthawk black pearl...but the guy at the shop said that it would only last a few months since the center piece is, according to him, glass. i thought it was plastic? which one of us is wrong?
