Exclamation Best Reverse indiglow lights

Hey people, how's it goin,

I lately been wanting to get reverse indiglow guage faces for my car(00 Accord V6). But there are so many choices, that i am very lost . Can you please recommand a good reliable brand that won't cause the needles to stick. By the way, i would prefer a titanium or silver look in the daytime, and a nice soothing blue at night-time. So someone please help !

just go on ebay and pick u a new one for about $50 or so bucks, that swhat i did, and it works fine, they said its supposed to be blue/green, depending on where you seyt the dial, but the truth is, there isnt any green. but thats fine, cause i wanted blue anyway. after i gt mine, i kept them in a book for a week or so the make sure they stayed flat until installation time.

OEM with blue LED's. no sticking, no contrasting white/silver gauge face. just lights up a nice bright blue.

Also JonHsiung, are LED's worth it? Are they easier on the battery than indiglow's? Do you have to splice a lot of wires to install them, or is it simple. sorry about so many questions.

i got mine from speed hut. they are a little dimmer than the led conversion i did to the rest of the dash, but they are still black face with white lettering.

they are on my imagestation album

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287698005

(they look purple because of the yellow/orange ambient light comming thru the winshield)

the only kind I've ever liked are ones that have sortive an off white colored face. Like beige almost. They look like they could pass for oem. Anyone know what I am talking about? -J

during daytime they're exactly like stock. LEDs probably take "more battery" in combined voltage than indiglos. Probably less current, but i'm not quite sure on either. the difference is that there wont be any splicing, messy wires, or rubbing as opposed to indiglo. LEDs should also last for the life of your car.

the problem with LEDs is if you really want to make it look like an apparent change, your needle won't show up unless you want the needle the same color as the LEDs, and that you need someone to solder the LEDs directly to the board after buying the LEDs in bulk.

btw, those pics aren't mine.

these are mine:

you can see part of my dash while it's off here...old pic...

hahaha. actually the shift knob and emblems are chrome...the pedals, HU, and gauges are brushed aluminum. now my dvd screen is black so a lot of the bling has been covered up or taken out.
