Installing Deck...

Hi, Wellllll I have a Honda Accord 99 EX V6. and it has the super big deck alrite. and I want to install my Alpine CDA-9813. I was wondering where can I get the pocket lid for under the deck. I need the number or a site where I can get it. and about how much it will cost. Also will my Alpine work with my steering wheel controls or do I have to go get like that thing that cost liks 70 bucks to make it work?
Also I was wondering. I also have a Honda Accord 03 Sedan. Both are. Is it possible switching the New accords speakers with my car? cause stock from the new accord does sound a lot better?? Thanks!

you can pick up the pocket lid under the deck for about $15-25 depending on your local audio shop or just buy it from hondaautomotiveparts.com, majestichonda, or handa.

in order for you to use the original steering wheel remote, you will be required to get the pac-swi-x infrared remote. it'll run you about $70. here's a link: http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...teering+remote

you can switch the new accords speakers to you car, but you might as well just buy some aftermarket ones if you're going to be doing the work anyway. even relatively cheap ones will be better than your OEM ones.

and please run a search next time. these things have been discussed to death.

you can fit 6 1\2 in the front and 6x9 in the rear. you might need to use some spacers so the magnet wont hit the window when rolled down.

when the window rolls down in to your door it goes past your speaker. on the back of your speaker there is a magnet if the magnet sticks out to far you will hit your window. as for the din storage you will have to go to honda for that one the aftermarkets are just a hole no cover

go down to your nearest honda dealer ship. go to the parts department and tell them what you want. the second din storage with the door. and they will give you a price.

lol $5 for a bolt love that mark up you can get those at home depot or other stores for lik 25 cents. your best bet would be to take your dash off and see if you have the mounts if im not mistaken they should already be there. mine came with one though. would have gave you mine but i chopped it up.

that plastic compartment is worth more than the radio. good buy, go for it.
