Finally - Carbon Fiber OEM Fenders

Looks like someone is finally making some OEM CF Fenders for us, though C Wings products are known to be expensive, and
they're not disappointing on the price of these; Projected Price on the 4-Door ones: $800.00

Just thought I'd post about them for those with mucho dinero.

thats very very expensive. I would not pay 800 bucks for 2 small pieces of fenders.
You can get so many other things with that money.

Dont get me wrong, sweet looking fender, definitely looks like high quality carbon fiber material i would love to have those on my car, but price is just off the hook.

are the stock fenders that heavy?
or is this purely for aesthetics?

Most CF parts nowadays are purely aesthetics.

Oookay, I'm an idiot...hopefully, if you go to this link:

http://www.importfan.com/series.asp?SeriesID=314&2=1123

You'll notice the CF ones at the bottom, but also notice the pricing on their blueclass bs border FD3S ones. Notice that retail price??It is at $980 . Then notice their "list price" of $133.00. I think it's safe to say their "retail pricing" is f'ed up. So if that's the case, I don't believe these things will be $800.00.

You'll also see that the 4-door ones are in the "test fitting stage", where as the 2-door ones say "coming soon", but hell, that could actually be reversed since 2-door stuff usually comes out first and their website obviously has 'f' ups.

And yea, they basically only look good on Black cars if you're not planning on painting them. For a guy like me that has bent/f'd up fenders on both sides, I wouldn't mind getting these to replace OEM fenders to be a miniscule 2 pounds lighter IF the price was right.

Was the company Carbon Creations by any chance? I wish they'd f'in do something with their website already.

http://www.carbon-creations.com/carbon-creations/

Those eyelids are lookin a lot better than the ones I have. GTP/C-Wings must've updated them, I like how those are bolted down to the headlight housing bolts.

As for the splitter, you could actually get those just about anywhere. Just a flat slab of carbon fiber/fiberglass cut in that shape. As a matter of a fact I have one from Fiber Images sittin at my mom's house collecting dust if anyone wants it.

First off, it'll fit my BW1 kit with about an inch sticking out on both sides. As far as the OEM/BW2 goes, I honestly don't know. It's 70.5 inches at it's widest point towards the rear and 63 inches wide at it's smallest point before the drastic curving happens.

As for how it bolts on, you got me. I suppose you have to drill it at certain points into the bottom of your kit, whatever you have, then you add the front Metal rods to support it from the front.

I purchased it for $220.00 + shipping/tax from Fiber Images, I'm willing to let go of it for $175 +shipping/insurance.
Here's the pictures.
