Would replacing back 6x9 make a diff?

Stock head unit on a 2001 Coupe 6disk changer:
Would replacing the back 6x9 make a diff in sound?

if so which brand and model is recommended?

i would replace the stock deck too with an aftermarket one. that'll make your stock speakers sound better. if you want better sound quality than that, then replace your stock speakers.

i think stock head with stock speakers r fine
if u change the HU, increasin the wattage, change the speakers
best bet, get a HU, amp and new speakers

i had my pioneer HU with stock speakers and they sounded much better than stock HU

changing HU make world wide difference ...

get HU, amp, and new speakers then a sub , get a DVD , put a center channel as well.

Sorry, as in changing the speakers. Any new 2 or 3 way 6x9 offer excellent sound quality. The way it was explained to me it depends on the kinda of music you listen to. Pop the cover off a rear speaker and take a peak. Then look at any new 6x9 and you will see the difference. It seems to me that MOST cars kinda cheap out with stock audio components. Please remember that this is my opinion. Thanks

and most OEM car speakers, have cardboard cones.....

Replacing the speakers will make a difference. But since the new speakers need more power I would add an amp. I have a four channel amp running Pioneer 6x9's and a set of 6.5" components all using the stock deck. Sounds great.
