this is a real quick question that has been bothering me becuase i dont know the definate answer to it...

Are RH Evolution rims aa knock-off imitation rims of the real Racing Hart rims? Or are the essentially the same?

From what I heard, the RH Evolution is knock-offs of the real Racing Hart. The wheels are made in Taiwan not in Japan.

Whell i heard that they are the same company, and one is just more upscale than the other, which explains the price difference for rims that look and perform and weight damn near the same.

well i would go with any of those three, cause when i was nin japan and i used to go to the street drifts at night, damn near all the drifters had either ADVAN, Racing Hart or good ole VOLK.
and im here to tell you them rims got some serious abuse, from hiting curbs, tire blow outs, and hitting curbs straight on, and a lot of times the tire and suspension would wreck before the rim. especially the VOLKS, damn them things are tough, but if you want something moe affordable, id go with the racin harts.

Thanks for the compliment but there are far greater members that are more knowledgeable than me. Are you looking for the 5 spoke design? Check out these rims, there are more but I can only think of these right now.

SSR Competition (18)
Advan RG (18)
Volk TE-37 (18)
Racing Hart CP-035 (18)
5Zigen FN01R (17)

All I listed down are performance wheel. No 3pcs rims are light weight.

Try looking at some of the cheaper FF rims like Velox. They are of fine quality even compared to the more expensive imported rims. Take the money you save and spend it on suspension/engine mods.

I'm happy with the quality of my RH Evo C5's........of course they are not as upscale as original Racing Harts, but they are by no means knock-offs. As for the weight of them, I'm sure there are much lighter wheels out there

RH Evos are the US verson of Racing Harts which are from Japan. im not 100% sure if the RH Evos are made in taiwan or US, RH Evos are casted while Racing Harts are forged. Racing Harts are light and much stronger than RH Evos, however with this being said RH Evos are still very stong. Most Racing Harts are 3 or 2 peices and most RH Evos are 1 peice

For one thing I think the RH wheels look better than RH revolution, maybe the only excepton is the RH CR EVO multi-piece. I saw it on a Celica in Import tuner and it looks pretty good.
