Screen in stock location? Pic request.

Does anyone have pics of some screens installed in the stock double-DIN opening so they look flush with the dash and are built in? I've seen a lot of the swing-out screens but don't like how they block other parts of the dash, and I think they look tacky. I'd like to see some ideas for embedding the screen into the dash. If you've also got info on what screen was used and other details, I'd really appreciate them.

Thanks
Sam

I hang out on mp3car.com and a lot of them use their double dins to house a 7" touchscreen LCD. From reading postings it seems that some trimming is required and disassembling of the LCD to make it fit.

If anyone has done this in a 6th gen accord, it's be great to see.

I wish Honda made a Navi to fit into the HU section .

Toyota did it for the Camry. But at least the new Accord has a very nice Navi unit for the 7th gen .

Yeah...from what I remember they were Fahrenheit screens. You can ask Ghetto Green to make sure, that's his car.

Wow, that one's hideous - bad color coordination and a waste of space.

Can someone who can use the forum's PM function PM "Ghetto Green " and send him the link to this post and ask him to chime in? His screen is the best fit and least wasted space of the ones in this post.

I found Ghetto Green on AIM and asked him, it's a Fahrenheit/Power Acoustik (same company) pt_701mhr, sells for around $325.
