3/4 inch mdf including another 1/4 inch spacer ring for the grills.
Front stage setup Adire koda 6.1 powered by TruTechnology copper series. 100x2. Depth wise the kodas are 3inch depth.

Sound superb... but my previous Rainboe Prof vand had a bit more midrange clarity and presence.. these guys are bit more flat consistent with a Dynaudio or Morel driver.

Where did you hear about Adire from? Do they have any places where you can listen to them before buying? Just curious as their price isn't through the roof.

for the rest of the thread, there's suprisingly quite a bit of room in there. I still have my crap kicker RS6s in there ever since I killed my CDTs, but they fit with a little spacer. I might skip the three way CDT's like I had and go with some two ways. I kindof like not having kicks in the car, even though the image is better with kicks, the convenience isn't, and I looooved my CDTs(I had the HD-642-DTMs). You can pick up the CD euro sport last year series for a steal from thezeb. the two ways are almost 1/2 off(ES-620), only $449 from $789 retail(the 2003 model is $759 BLECK!) THere's quite a bit of bang for the buck with CDTs, especially at that price. at $400 they eat most everything else in that same price range.
