So, is 00accord's setup going to rub with a drop?

I need to know because both of the rims I'm looking into only have a +42 offset (18x7.5) available and I'll be on a 2.0" drop...

I didn't find any 18's with >+42 offset that I liked yet...

I have 18", 45 offset. I used to have 215/45/18 tire. when the car is drop to the lowest, like no figure gap, tuck in the fender, driver rear rub when turning. other 3 corners doesn't. After I raise it to 1 - 1.5 inch gap, no rubbing.

but now, with 225/45/18, the car rubs if I do some "extremely" fast cornering. only happen 2 times in 6 months. I think the width of tire is part of it.

I have an 01 accord v6 with about a 2.25 inch drop with
18x7.5 with an 43mm offset with 225-40 nankang
i rub like crazy in the back(with negative camber).
with only me in the car
i would go with a smaller tire for sure.

I have 18" RH Evo C2 w/225/40/18 (+42offset) and Neuspeed Race Springs (2.25F/1.75R drop) and no rubbing problems at all... And, I packed my ride when a bunch of us went for drinks yesterday... Still no rubbing.

I was worried about it at first but the shop I bought the rims from had a 03AV6coupe also dropped on 18" C5's w/ plenty of clearance so I went ahead and bought my RH's too...

Yup, I think 19's look a little nicer but I can't drive on rubberbands to work because of the crappy roads at the waterfront...

Otherwise, I would be sporting 19's too...

i got motegi mr7's in 18x7.5 with 45 offset, they are wrapped in 225/40/18 with a pro kit--1.5 drop, somtimes when i take turns sideways or at an angle it will rub a tiny bit...but my fenders are not rolled....once i get them rolled im sure it will be nothing.....and i wish i could have gotten 19's, but roads are ****ty and they are alot more expensive than 18's...at least the ones i wanted
