You can use a relay. tap off your siren, and run it to 85. diode isolate your flashing parking lites, and run to 86. Take 12volts to 87, and hook 30 up to your stobes 12volt side. If you have a horn honk output, it makes it even easier.
Your stobes still might barely flash on the disarm. If you don't use the diode right your siren will make a weird noise too. Good luck dude!!

Depends which strobe controller. I have my siren wire hooked up to a relay that goes through 3 diodes then one wire to each of the head select lines and I have another diode on the head select lines so if those are on it won't bleed backwards to the relay. I have mine hooked up pretty elaborately with lots of diodes so I can turn it on and play with it sometimes. I have it so the interior strobes can NEVER come on when the ignition is on though One pushbutton to just turn on the front strobes, one pushbutton to just turn on the back strobes, and a switch to turn on all the strobes, if the ignition is off the interior ones will come on too. That's my version of hazards

I don't think you want to hook the strobes up to light flash and siren, then have a built in flasher themselves, you just want an on while alarming, like the siren wire to control them while the alarm is going off. Also for me since I have mine on silent arm, it doesn't advertise my car.

Tell me what strobes you have and I can help. I'll draw a pretty picture.

this is pretty close to my controller, except mine is whelen http://www.strobe.com/pdfs/spak906-install.pdf

Not sure, do you just have RKE? or do you have the upgraded alarm? There has to be a wire somewhere that tells the car it's alarming, otherwise you might have to go with the light flash and horn honk bit, don't think it would help much though. Although you could do the horn honk and light flash to a relay and have that relay go to control the coil of another relay and put a capacitor on the line with a drain resistor, so the strobes would stay on long enough between flashes Do the lights flash and the horn honk at the exact same time? Isn't it two light flashes for every horn honk? We'd just have to figure out what the impedance of the coil on the relay is, then how long you want them to stay on after over horn honk, light flash... oh wait, but then if you honk your horn with the lights on your strobes would go on lol. Sorry thinking as I'm typing. There has to be a wire someone from the RKE brain that's doing the honking. You sould be able to find that wire, isolate it with a diode, put an RC timer on it and be all set. I'll see if I can find out more for you. Sheesh make it easy, get the upgraded alarm

Ok don't mind the neon looking strobe tube, it's a strobe no really it is lol. Here's the general idea. Pardon my writing, I'm a left handed writer but right handed mouser, so mouse writing doesn't ever look too good.

heres a question...how would i go about haveing all my neons and strobes light up instead of the parking lights when i unlock my doors and still work with a switch...all my neons and stobes are on one switch and and off of one positive wire...so i get the idea with the relay and resistor but can u draw a sketch of how to do it instead of the lights...all i need is the hook up to where the positive wire for the neons would go...thanks alot

If I understood correctly in your first post you pretty much just want to turn them on via the remote? Not associated with the alarm going off? If so, it is simple and I can explain, if not then follow the directions posted above..

pretty much the same thing as lou asked, you'd have to find the wire from the RKE(remote keyless entry) that goes to the light flash wire, and put a diode inline then tap off of that line on the brain side of the diode so it can tell the difference between the RKE flashing the lights, and you just turning on your parking lights. If it's an aftermarket alarm it's pretty easy, just tell me what brand and model and I'll tell you what wire you need to cut and put a diode on, but if it's the OEM RKE you're on your own. Personally I think making your car as inconspicuous as possible when you leave is the best, that's why I always turn my system down a few blocks before I get where I'm going, and I have my alarm on silent passive arming, so noone thinks anything of it. Making your strobes and neon flash when you arm it especially at night just screams "please look at me, I have stuff you want to steal"

Unfortunately yes it does, but that's why I have it, so when it does go off it scares the **** out of folks. My last post was more for the people that wanted to hook their strobes and neon up to the arm and disarm flash. I don't want them flashing unless it's to scare turds away. Mine rarely falses though, so it doesn't attract too much bad attention. I have a shock sensor in the front and in the back so I don't have the have it that sensative to cover the whole car. Most of the time there's just one so you have to crank it way up to cover the whole car.
