Buying blackhousing headlights...whats the difference?

I'm starting to mod my car. Starting off with the basic look of black housing headlights. I didn't know where to look but I've found these on ebay.

The $59 black housing headlights......

The $69 blk housing headlights....

The $109 OBX 9800HLB blk housing headlights...

I dont know much about this car yet as I've never intended to do exterior mods. I was wondering are these all the same? Why is the last one priced so high compared to the others? Which one would you guys advise me to get?

I was looking at the first and second sets that you had posted, pretty much the same just different brands. If you look closely at the background of the first link pic, its CRV's car. I PMed him a while back about it.

are you sure its my car? haha j/k Anyways how did you know it was mine? Thanks for pointing it out because I would have never known about it.

Between the three I would get the last one because it has the chrome corners like mine. The first two have black corners, but I prefer the chrome corners.

LOL I don't know how I noticed, I was browsing through eBays black housing head lights and I clicked on that frst link and was like, "Whoa cool head lights, *looks closer at picture* now where have I seen this car before?" and then I remembered it was on V6P. Sue the person who posted the pic without your permission and then with the money you get buy everyone black housing

The ones from k2motor are sweet. I ordered and received mine last week, and they look tight.

I would sugest buying them from them.
The $69 blk housing headlights....

P.S. Just the thought of cooking my headlights didn't sound so fun..... so like you intend to do, just buy some.

most likely, the first 2 sets of headlights won't have the ability to be aimed up,down, left, right. you'll probably get that option(which is a very good sign of quality) with the 3rd ones.

when i first bought clear/chrome headlights, they couldn't be aimed. i don't know the name of the brand. but then i ordered clear/black headlights, which are made by depo, that could be aimed.

If you want ur headlights like David's you better DIY some OEM ones, those are rettrofitted TSX HID projector headlamps by Rich.

Whoops I forgot these pics are pre-retro - HAHAAHA

I still think those are DIY.

bump...

You guys were sayin that some cheaper blackhoused headlights couldnt be aimed. Would I need my headlights to have the ability to aim if I have a stock height Accord?

Ur better doing a retrofit or making your own Black innerhousing from OEM headlights (Not DOT!!!) because many of the Ebay versions suck imo - the fit are wrong on some, water or condensation tends to **** them up hence your bulbs can pay the price along with your visiblity at night.

The only aftermarket headlights I've seen that were good were from TYC, but even so, unless you planned on having a HID kit mated with it - they aren't as bright as OEM Headlights.

OEM Headlights are annoying to DIY, but in the long run if it's done right they tend to look madd HARD =)

I'm guessing when aligning yourlights, it's the headlights, not the bulbs, unless you have a projector retrofit.

BTW, the "JDM" headlights in Ebay are more likely not JDM, but just the look. Real Inspire headlights don't fit 6th gens unless you do some modifcations to the fenders, etc =P

I have halo angel eye headlights. The problem is that everytime i turn them on, the passenger side one never does. I have to open the hood and play with it to turn on. I've gotten it checked out and go new wires and relay. There is no difference. Anyone have any ideas?
