M3 Mirrors - Who's installed them? seen them on an accord?

Anyone installed these on their ride?

Like it? don't like it? Quality, etc. Thinking about gettin them, I haven't seen them on any accords so i'm kinda iffy about it. I'm trying to keep it clean and not rice it out, so your input is welcomed!

Thanks,

Dave

I've seen it on quite a few actually, overall feeling of it..... bad...

Out of the 3 sets i've seen, they're really low quality product. Also, a lot of times, it doesn't seem to be flush with the car. The bottom of hte OEM mirrows are a straight horizontal line across to reach the car. The M3 makes it a slanted line that leans down. I think that really nasty.

But i saw a set of TSX mirrows on a 6th gen a few months ago online somewhere, it was really flush and that was beautiful.

Thanks man. I felt it looked a little cheap too, but i really like the look. I'll have to price out some OEM TSX mirrors. Not cheap I'm sure. I thought about just finding some OEM 6th gen and painting them black, or find some that are already black and play with them. dunno. Just the tinker in me.

hmmm, i was just "playing" with an idea...........3 amber leds that go off with the turn signal, sequentially? hmmmm, i think that'd look pretty sweet.....on oem's

They wouldn't be that bad if they were better built, and made from a stronger OEM similar material. Also, quite a few of them had the notorious problem of having terrible fitment. BTW, the TSX Turn sig mirrows were not a direct fit on the 6th gen. The guy did quite a lot of cutting to make it fit.

DONT GET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had them on my ride for temp purposed cuz my mirrors got ripped off and they TOTALLY SUCK! THe only cool thing was that the mirror is tinted blue so it looks liek all the cars have HIDS in them.

Your fIeld of vision really blows and you are limited to so much with the smaller glass. I really liked going back to stock mirrors after having those ****** ones. The motors are slow on the motorized ones too. After I took them off my car the mirror on one of them just fell off completely.

well that about does it for me! I liked sketch's idea with the led look. I priced out the mirror housing and they're about $50/each. Get some extras and play with it. i didn't get a price for the tsx mirrors, but if there are major mods, it's probably not worth the time when I can mod OEM's. should be a fun project if i decide to do it.

Thanks guys.

Dave

Don't think I've ever seen them. I'm assuming that they are no good by reading your guys's posts. Does anyone have any pics of them?
