Removing molded side skirts

I have the bw side skirts molded to the car for bout a two years and it's started to crack along the seams of the doors. Is it possible to remove the side skirts or will it cost hella cheese? I'm trying to swith to the oem kit.

i'm not no body shop owner or anything about body stuff...

but they'll probably have to maybe saw it off or something, then sand it back down to get all that bondo and stuff out, then paint it...

it'll cost a little more than usual, but a good body shop can do it....

That's understandable, i'm just thinking that it will cost way too much to remove the skirts and it would just be easier and cheaper to repair the cracks.
