Gauge Mounting alternative *update*
Figured I'd throw some pictures as to which method I finally got around to using to mount my autometer gauges. I wanted a clean OEM look so I came up with this...
took some scrap material from around the shop and designed it up to mount in the 6th GEN 3rd din kit slot. I'm going to have it black hardcoated to look like plastic more or less. Should give the inside a nice clean look. I'll post more info as I get more done
**edit sorry for the HUGE pictures lol**

its some 6061 aluminum I designed up a program for it in Mastercam, a design software we use here. Set it up and cut it in a CNC mill gotta love dead time before a 3day holiday weekend

Yea I'll try and fix that first pic this afternoon.
I got the 3rd din in the car this weekend along with the turbo kit
So I'll have some pictures with it in and the EGT and Oil pressure gauge in.. still have to buy my Fuel pressure gauge
Here are the pictures. imo i think it turned out rather well. The EGT isnt hooked up yet but the oil pres. gauge is.
I'll have finalized pictures up when I get the third gauge installed
Again sorry for the large pics

here is a night shot, not to good, was an awkward angle
I actually also have a dimmer out of a civic I plan on retrofitting in and wiring in specifically to dim the c2 gauges, cause damn they're bright

looks good. i woudl do it, but i use that whole little area, plus i have my hidden switch down there, so this would block it. im prolly just going to get the 3 pod a pillar mount when i get some gauges.
