Door Trim Removal

anyone know how to get this off? I want to paint it , mine is that ugly wood.

I've taken the whole door panel off before so I can do that if its needed but Can I just pry it off?

Nope you cant pry it off.. it's not held in place via clips. It has screws holding it in place. You'll need to take off your door panel. I had the same simulated wood on my 2000 beige accord ex panels. I found some 01-02 door panels with the silver colored ones. The 01-02 are not swappable with the 00 wood.. 01-02 are slightly slimmer.

anyways hope that helped.

youre talking about the trim on the inside of the door right? cuz if you have wood trim on the outside, i dont wanna know who had this car before you, or what you did to it. haha. well anyway, theres a screw in the bottom of the handle in the door piece, it has a cover over it, so you have to pop that off, then unscrew the screw, and it should pop out fiarly easy. you just need to unplug everything and then you have that whole piece, which im assuming the wood is on, out. then its all you from there, cuz i have an lx sedan, so no special trimming for me. i dont thinks it should be different on a coupe door, the only difference really is that theyre longer then the sedans.
