I've seen the SilverStar blinkers and think they look crappy...... they look greenish/blueish from certain angles when they're off.

I hated the orange "blob" of color in the chrome turn signal housings (both front and rear) on my car. So for my blinkers I used Titanium bulbs up front and Chromie bulbs in the back..... they are a true silver color when off, and amber when lit. They blend in perfectly with the chrome/silver housings, and it's actually very difficult to see the bulb itself in the housings. Imo, it makes that part of the light housings look a whole lot cleaner. I'd have used Titanium bulbs in the back also, but the bulb shape didn't allow it to fit thru the hole in the back of the housing, so I had to search around for an equivalent looking bulb and ended up finding the Chromie bulbs.

Lil off topic, but can we use LED bulbs in our taillights or will they blink too fast or turn on the taillight out thing on the dash?

The Titanium bulbs, which I used in the front turn signals, were found locally at a Pep Boys store. But the Titanium bulbs I bought there for the rear wouldn't fit thru the hole in the bulb housing. So I ended up getting the Chromie bulbs for the rear from eBay..... the only place I could find them! And with shipping, the pair for the rear was about $15, iirc. Still worth it, imo, to get rid of the orange "blobs".
