Mugen lip installed! **new with pics**

So today i got my mugen lip and eyebrows from the painter... It looks great!! i wish i had pics to show it. maybe ill take some tomm.

But my only problem is the details!!! yea it looks great from far a way but on the passenger side there is a lil gap between the bumper and the lip while the driver side is near perfect. Some say its because expansion and contraction, but i want to find a way so that i will never have a gap.

What i was thinking is something like the stock lips or kits. on my brothers clk i noticed he had a lil rubber gourmet or something i donít know what to call it, in between his lip and his body. his is not black its actually painted over to match the body. even on my friends scion tc. he has a lil black gourmet thing
(not painted). I geuss its all to cover the gaps from expansion and contraction, which is exactly what i want to do.

Does any one have any ideas where i can get something like that alone? and then paint it to match my car with spray paint?? Most of us could use something like this for whatever lip we have on.

Thanks guys!

**************edit****

Okay okay i just took pics here they are.. sorrie they took so long

Heres a dark pic it kinda sucks.... but you can seee you can see

The right side the pic is better here you can see my gap.... the other side is perfect tho.. kinda werid but it actually gets bigger and smaller depending on the temp

a side shot

and my wonderful eyelids...

What do you guys think of it?

about that rubber grommet thing i think its supposed to help keep water and dirt from penetrating between the lip and front bumper. I'm sure you could go to a local hardware store and get something that would work. As for painting it, i think its a bad idea since you are going to be bending and wrapping it around so as a result the paint will start chipping and cracking. But if were able to put that find and mount the rubber grommet thing before you had the front lip painted, I'm sure it would less likely chip.

post some pix.....i assume you used a 98-00 mugen lip and cut it to fit the 01-02 bumpers?

i did the same thing and had the little gap up close.

you need to use some heavy duty double sided stick tape to help the problem.

Do you just hold that sedan side skirt up to the car and then mark it and cut it? Cuz i am thinking of buying a front and side from tomato.
