customizing cluster

Hi,

Does anyone know if I could use replace the 98 gauges with a 02 gauges..can you just just swap the faces or you actually have to replace the whole thing?

If your going to swap the gauges then why not just get some reverse indiglo off eBay?

you can do it, its easy... just make sure you get the correct model for your car...

and things to worry about, such as if their was any previous damage, or if someone has messed around with the needle...

I want the mileage to be the same as wut it currently is tho....

i know for fact that 98-00 gauges dont work on 01-02. the water temp needle is not compatible for some reason.

when you take off the face, the needles will stay intact with the face... just leave the needles alone..

i cant believe 01-02 has a water temp gauge thats not fair. damn i still need to recalibrate my gas needle...however you do it...

water temp gauge? where is that location on a 2001 v6 coupe? anyone with pic of that gauge? is that the same one on the right of gauge cluster? engine temp same?
