only police vehicles can have red or blue lights on the front of the car. turn signals can only be white or yellow. that's in california. but it varys state to state.

hahaha, i tried doing that once. i had those pisser leds, green ones. i was pulled over once in bridgewater for having them, it was like a week before christmas, and i was pulling into the parking lot, the cop pulls me over and says theyre illegal, and i go, well, i have them on for the christmas season (i really didnt, but i thought it would work), and right after i said that, this black Xterra drives by with red and green christmas lights with fake tree needles wrapped around the entire roof rack, and so i said to the cop what about that guy? and he goes, well, theyre not in the way of his sight, those lights are on his roof, and then i was pissed, so i said, listen, i know that having foward facing red lights IS against the law unless youre a cop, and the xterra guy has about 20 foward facing lights in just red alone, not including green. so the cop let me go, but never pulled over the xterra guy.

that could be beause NJ's state laws and cops arent as strict... i on the other hand live in southern CA....where car laws and regulations are rediculously outragous.....CA is so strick on cars....

i got pulled over for having blue LED parkign lights the 2nd day i installed em....but i work at starbucks and know most the cops in my area, so he let me go and told me to take em off and report to him....

oh the privilages of working in starbucks....

Green is usually reserved for EMS/EMT... but as was said before, it varies from state to state, I live in NY.
