A good buy? 5Zigen-Mk6

My Ride
03 Accord EX V6

a shop has a set of
5Zigen MK6 17x7JJ (s183) with Nitto 450 (225/50-17)
Extreme tires for sale...
They are brand new, never been on the ground..
Not my first choice in wheels... but not my last either..

He wants 625.00 for the set of 4 (no lug nuts)

we put one wheel on the front to see if it would fit. It did..
Looking from the front, there was almost no visible tire
showing..

any help appreciated..

No visible tire ??? BTW I think the tires might need to be a 215/50-17 don't quote me on that for sure tho.
If it didn't fit the bolt pattern might have been a 5 x 100, accords usually have a 5 x 114.3 or 4 x 114.3

My bad..
looking from the front of the car, down the side,
I could barely see the edge of the tire..

215/50-17 will fit.. agreed.
225/50-17 per
http://www.bigwheels.net/packagesear...ortRimsBy=size
this size tire should fit..

5x114.3 (5x4.5) is the bolt pattern..

After much Googling, the MK-6 looks like it has
a 43 mm offset..

This appears to be an excellent price..

Anyone have an idea what the S183 means,
it was stamped on the inside of the rim..
5Zigen MK6 17x7JJ (s183)

Well.. I bought them.. and.. a bonus.. it had new lug nuts with it.. !!! I remember locking lug nuts were usually 1 per wheel, well all 21 lug nuts are "keyed" (slotted actually), new style??

I took it to the local tire shop to have them re-balanced and mounted.. off to the alignment shop tomorrow to have the front end alignment check..

The ride is just a little bit firmer.. but they do look sweet.. !!!

Thx for the input..

21 of them? Anyway, they are not new, they are called tuner lugs and are needed when using alot of different aftermarket wheels.
