can you dye leather???

does anyone know if you can dye leather??... change it a different color.... i'm guessing you can cuz i guess that's how katzkin has their different colors... and if so where can i get it done??... i'm asking cuz i thought about painting my car another color and instead of getting a whole new leather interior to match, i just want to dye the inserts... thanks in advance for any kind of help/suggestions

Not sure if it's possible or not, but it probably won't look right after time.

it's really harsh to dye anything, if you want some to permanently stay on. plus, it involves harsh chemical for dying anything, including shirt, pants yarn etc...

it'll wouldnt be worth even trying it..

Yes you can and all leather is dyed. Try Sem Color coat products I touched up my steering wheel with it.

I haven't forgotten, the weather is real crappy here now + I need to do something fresh as I have no pictures of how my wheel was before I painted it. But on a side note if your interior has Taupe(Brownish) the Sem color match is Monterey.

Take a shot at it it's not hard. It's all comes down to how you prep it.

there's certain things on my ride that i'm comfortable doing on my own or even trying... but dye'ing my leather doesn't give me that comfy feelin' ....
