Finally! I Know what i'm going to do.

Ok,

I think I know what i'm going to be doing with my car. But I still need some help. I'll take pictures as soon as it's done, but this is what its going to have:

R33 Front Bumper (with black mesh)
Black Widow 1 Sideskirts (with black mesh)
Black Widow 1 Rear Bumper (with black mesh)
JT Autostyle NSX WIdebody Kit
Shaved Door Handles
Carbon Fiber Canards Type 1
Carbon Fiber Eyelids
Carbon Fiber Emblems (Imported JDM)
VIS Carbon Fiber Hood
APR GTC 300 Carbon Fiber Wing (Single Deck)
Full Carbon Fiber Splitter w/ Rods
Roof Scoop Type 2
* I also may decide to put Lambo doors on the car too, not sure yet.

I also ordered some JDM "Accord Inspire" parts from Japan, Japanese plates (for show) and I ordered some new Hyperblack 19" rims. I just can decide what color to paint the thing.

I'm thinking of leaving it Satin Silver so I don't have to worry about painting the engine bay, or, painting it NSX Lemon Yellow. I made a poll on this since I decided on these 3 colors, I just need some help here deciding! HELP! Thanks

Yeah, thats the only thing I was holding back on, but... I figured I would order it anyway and see how it looked. If it was way too stupid, I wouldn't put it on. BTW, Stacy what part of NY you from?

rims

I would leave them Hyperblack and see what responce you get. You can always paint them later.

Suggestion: Car maunfacturers are always coming out with some new colors and color scheme combinations. Before changing the color on my ride, I visited a few car dealerships known to have some decent paints on their cars, then selected my color from the ones I liked. For istance I selected my color from the Lexus color scheme - Platinum Silver and then added some extra pearl and silver flake.

For me, selecting the color was not a problem, it was the selecting the body shop to do the work was the problem! They screwed up the whole project. I blame myself for not properly doing my homework or thoroughly researching this body shop. I seriuosly learned you DO NOT want to rush! I was in a rush to make the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and never made it. Also learned, if you get on a body shop's bad side, they will make your life miserable. Most body shops have the worse customer service, they lie on what they can & will do for you, they know how to hold your car hostage, mess up your ride (rip off parts and/or forget or lose them), and basically use every stall tactic known to crooks! The whole experience still pisses me off talking about it. REALLY DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THIS PROJECT!

Yeah, I like Mike's car alot, but I don't want to be biting off him at all since I have my own style. I'm not going to over do it Andy, i'm just never satisfied.. both in performance and style.

I think it will look ok, and if it doesn't, i'll have the BW1 bumper to put in its place. I think i'm going with a silver look, or yellow look. I just can't decide though, and it's driving me nuts. I'll keep the car looking clean and not "ricey." I have one set picture in my head of what I want to do, and I think it will eventually come together.

i don't like the looks of the BW rear bumper. The 2 big holes is a total turn off for me.

I htink u're much better off getting a buddy club molded, or something else not as loud

Vic, i know you like silver, and I know you like the NSX..
have you checked out the "KAISER SILVER METALLIC" off the 98/99ish NSX's, its SOOOO hott in person. Plus you wouldn't have to get your engine bay repainted or anything, cuz its close, yet so much hotter, look into it, if u get a chance

Actually, our cars look the same since I currently have a FULL Authentic Ground Designs 2000 Black Widow 1 Kit on my car, and it's painted Satin Silver. I'm gonig to be scanning some pics of my car when I get home and post them up. Its nothing special as far as externals, but the Supercharger makes it stand out.

Najeeb, good idea. I'm going to look into that color, and see how it looks. What I don't want to do, is make my car identical to Mike Maio's gorgeous Accord painted WRX blue. If I paint it Long Beach blue our cars are going to be too close...... so..... I also wanted to ask you Najeeb, that place Eastern Motorsports, were you totally satisfied with their work on your car? I know you don't like the color, but the work as far as paiting the whole car, was it good?

I already ordered some SICK looking 19" 5Zigen rims, and I also have a set of 19" Advan rims for show comming in as well. I still have these 18" Racing Hart M5's since they are so hard to find, so if you need them for some shows let me know. I may sell them....... depending if these Advan rims come in soon...haven't decided yet.

damnnnnn, Advans are crazyyy ill man!!! hehe how long ago did u order 'em? Cuz you migh have thru go thru quite a wait for these hehe.

As far as the shop I went to, its called Wings Performance lol, Eastern Autosports is another shop that j/sells parts. Unless your talking about EastCoast Motorsports, which is a shop by my area (suffolk county), but all they do is sell parts too.

Anyways, the quality of their work is awesome, they molded my flares, my front lip, everything sweetly, even though they messed up my paint, the quality of the paint is very good too. I'm very satisfied with their bodywork skills. Anymore questions, let me know.

(btw Vic, im'ma try n give u a call when I get outta work @ 2pm or 3pm today)

I'll be back in NY on Friday.

The Advan rims are going to take like 3-5 months to get here, and the seller is trying to see if he can expedite that time. Otherwise I might not get them. I'm trying to, but not holding my breath. Either way I got the sickest deal on these Brand New 19x7.5 5Zigen Corpse Hyperblack Rims. Not even wheelmax can beat their prices!
