the 2dr hood raises up in the middle. the 4dr hood has two cuts it in....but doesn't elevate in the middle more than the sides.

if someone could post a head on pic of both cars, you'll see the difference. better yet, if you go out and look @ the two cars side-by-side in person, you'll know right away. this causes the bumper to be different on both cars also (the coupe bumper is shorter top to bottom because the coupe hood extends down a little further in front). that's why when sedan owners put the coupe front bumper on, they get the crazy gap (well most of them anyway).

hope that helps.

i have a huge gap on my car. it was in a wreck before i bought it and i think when it went in for repairs they put the sedan hood on there instead of a coupe hood.

^^ haha

blackonchrome -- the coupe hood actually extends a little bit longer in front than the sedan hood (i believe). that's why there's a gap when you put the coupe bumper on the sedan with the sedan hood. this is why, when people put coupe bumpers on their sedans...they also get the coupe hood to go with it. also the shape of the bumper around the grille is different for both cars....thus needing differently shaped hoods.

but thats not even a big gap thou, my car is a coupe and it came with a gap too. i dont know if it was hit before(2nd hand) but the tittle is clean. beside, the only different i could tell is the coupe hood have the 2 lines going down, the sedan the line is not that noticeable.
