fitting a 98 sedan front bumper to a 2001 sedan

I was wondering what i would have to do to get a 98 front sedan bumper to fit mh 2001 accord because i wanted to put a mugen lip and i think it looks better on a 98. I talked to some people n they said that the 2001 are wider so idk how or what to do to make it fit, but i have seen it done. any help or feedback would be nice thanks in advance

I plan to do this with a Wings West type-W kit and I was told that the bumpers are all completely interchangeable, one may LOOK wider than the other, but they're the same, the mounting points might be a little different, for instance the 98-00 bumpers have 4 clips above the grill (grill and bumper are separate I think) whereas the 01-02 only have 2 clips (grill is integrated onto bumper). Just remember that you can only interchange sedan with sedan and coupe with coupe, you can't go sedan to coupe or vice versa.

Ah you were thinking about what I was thinking about... front sedan bumper with WW on it and then some other goodies for sides and rear. Yes it will fit, but I think you need to buy the hood for the sedan.
