Exclamation Tweeters

I was just wondering if anyone had had some great success with a particular set of tweeters in their accord. How about the placement?

I love my tweeters but they are kinda pricy. They're a components set. They're kicker ss 6.5. I drilled a hole into my door panel put them there and they sound awesome. If you want pics go to my Cardomain page listed in my sig.

Not sure if it is the same in a sedan as a coupe but the covers on mine just popped off. Pull off a couple of screws and disconnect the wiring harness. But a heads up, If your looking to put in new tweeters there, good luck, the hole is very shallow!

IMO I think that the CDT-61s or CDT-62s tweeters are the clearest I've ever heard. They are the TW-24s if im not mistaken. The component sets are really cheap too. I got a set of CL-61s for 130 shipped on ebay. Check it all out at www.cdtaudio.com One of my friends has a memphis component set, model 15-MCSQ6.5. They sound pretty good also but i think they go for around 250 on ebay. I think that they are way overpriced. You can see them here Memphis

I think that if you wanna change your tweeters you might as well change your door speakers too. Hope this helps.

In my old car, 98 honda civic, I had my tweeters placed near my head...the spot where the roof of the car, the windshield, and the upper corner of the door meet, hope that makes sense. Anyways, Im a tall guy so I wanted to make sure there was going to be no abstructions for the sound waves to hit my ears, and for the passangers traving in the back seat. So I placed them up there. IMO, it sounded great.
