Where to install a VAFC controller???

Looking to install my VAFC controller in the next day or two and trying to decide where to install it. Was wondering where others have installed and or if they have pictures. I was thinking about installing it down in cubby tray or up front left of dash....

if they gonna hack into the ECU wiring, etc. the shop i deal with said 100$cdn... but then u'd have to dyno tune it...another 100$cdn.... is that ur final mod portland? i was told to get a vafc as a FINAL mod, then dyno tune it for max. performance gains... is ur vafc version I or II? and how much did u pay for it?

I don't know if any mod will ever be my final mod. I call it being impulsive with a touch of OCD if that makes any sense. I plan on just having it put in there and then getting the rest of the exhaust system finished later this week. I will hopefully get the pulley set in a month or so though. It is the version 1 vafc and I think I got a ok deal on it for a C note....

Man if you dont have the PnP harness Id suggest you let someone else install it. Its such a pain to get to the ECU. I have the PnP harness its its still a pain to install. Its such a tight squeeze down there.

I got frog harness to make me a PnP and now when i have it hooked up to the car i have problems when the car is sitting..it wants to just turn off...I called them and told them this and they said that when they custom made it for me no one from Apexi would help them with the wiring

There's a perfect area on the steering column. Dark tint mandatory, and if you have to worry about the fuzz, forget it.

are these things of any use on the I4? i think i read somewhere that its pretty much useless for the I4. if what i read is true, why is it so pointless for the 2.3?

VAFC is gay....my turbo kit came with one(I have inline 4 by the way). They are difficult to use, MUST be tuned on a dyno!!!!! If you are adding bolt ons, you may get a better efficiency with them using this product though,
