Got my CL-S mufflers installed! <PICS>

I just had my Acura CL-S mufflers installed and they look A LOT better and even the sound is different! I wasn't expecting a sound difference but there is.. it's a little deeper/louder at lower RPMS, I haven't WOT it yet. Anyway, here goes the pics

they look hawt man! TL-S rims are nice too =]! if i didn't have my comptechs...this is the route i woulda gone. hopefully the front end (engine/tranny) of my accord will end up being a CL-S...and the exhaust won't really matter =]

Thanks! I was thinking about getting comptechs but I just can't handle the noise. I used to have Magnaflows and about 10% of the time I was loving the sound, but 90% of the time I was just driving around and it was getting annoying. I really like the CL-S mufflers because it gives a bit of sound, but not too much and it looks a lot better than stock.

Magnaflows too loud for you Vany

you should see if you can find a similar shaped exhaust tip to make your mufflers look flashier.

Cls mufflers are nice. Actually, the tips of them are weld in or just bolt into the canisters?

They're welded on.

Yeah after I bought them I looked up the prices and realized I got a really good deal, finally a break! Sometimes I wish I lived in So Cal because it seems like they always have deals going down there. My next step is to dynamat my trunk, even though I like the sound, I wanna keep it out of my car Thanks for all the comments!

Nah, no performance gains at all, just looks and sound.

I'm surprised nobody told me I needed a car wash yet. I would wash it but it's just going to rain on Sunday.

Pretty nice I thought about doing this but I eventually sold the mufflers to someone else and went with a Magnaflow catback.

put your premuffler on if it's a bit too loud...i had the cls mufflers w/o premufflers and they were ok then after a while it got annoying so i put the premuffler back on...then i miss the sound so i took it off again...and once again it got annoying...sooo i put it back on again =/ i actually prefer it with the premuffler on...you'll still get a little growl when you wot...it just sounds more of a v6 my friend told me w/o a premuffler sounded like a 4banger to him =/

Yeah I think I'm going to put my premuffler back on.. I just have to find it. How much do you think a muffler shop will charge to do something like that? It doesn't seem like it would be very hard.. cut here cut there and weld back together.

no offense to anyone who has this exhaust but im not a big fan of it, i myself know they're cls mufflers, but to anyone else it looks stock. its clean but id rather have a big shiney y'pipe and 2 big mufflers with wide open exhaust tips just humming.....

i know what you mean my friends didn't even noticed that i changed my mufflers lol but for me and some others here they just wanted a stock looking muffler with a bit of sound to it compared to the silent stock ones. i myself had comptechs and those were shiny and humming but eh i grew out of that stage of having flashy exhausts =/

^ word, it's all preference. It's not really to be compared to the actual bolt-on mufflers as having a CLS/S2K/TLS slapped on are more for people going for the simple clean OE look.
