Rim size/spec question

this is for a 6th gen coupe 4 cyl. 17x7 or 17x8... Also what offset do you guys recommend? They only offer 25+ or 35+ for the particular rim I am looking at.. I also hear that 215-45-17 is a nice tire size to go with.. or should I stick with 225-45-17.. Sorry I am not familiar with smaller size rims. Thanks for your help in advance.

well i'm not really sure about the offset but you should be able to go with 225 wide tires on a 7" rim.

7" wide rims -> offset range +42mm to +50mm
8" wide rims -> offset range +48mm to +50mm

in your case it depends on how low your car is.

you can fit 225 in the rear but it will stick out in the front with 225
