the deposit needs to be made as soon as you can make it.

OHH and I forgot to add that those who buy this through the group buy will also have the option of buying a carbon fiber hood at the same discount. Once the group buy is over then every one else will have to pay retail price for the hood and trunk

Are there any pictures of completed product? I'd be curious to see how it looks. You also mentioned the hoods, can you confirm that they will actually do the carbon fiber hood at the same price.

I kind of figured that, dude. But I figured I'd check to be sure. I'm also not quite as anxious to purchase a "prototype" product, something that hasn't been proven. I've seen carbon fiber hoods and trunks before, but not all are equal. Some are real thin and don't hold up well, clear coat comes off ect.. I don't want to spend $500 for something that's going to last me a year.

the Cf products are made by carbon creations, best in the biz. they did a group buy for the 2dr and now its the 4drs turn. they are going to take a trunk and make a mold from it so it should be spot on....there are trunks out there but i cant vouch on the quality of those...

well right now we are working on getting the 98-99 trunk in factory shape....no molding...If you want to get an 00+ trunk it would just be a 98 one with no light area....Im not trying to be rude but you really should have gotten with everyone else on this before doing that...other ppl have been waiting over a year to get this and if they change it to a molded trunk im definite ppl will be mad at this...I being one of them!

Well I will take your concerns into account and as well not to be rude but I merely followed what I thought your first post implied. It seems that you should have brought this up earlier.

They did not manage to call me back today, so I'll try calling them tomorrow again and ask Ryan whats going on.

So this is supposed to be for the earlier models only what about the rest of us?

good point good point...the real truth is that no one ever talked about what trunk year we would use.....anyone know the difference between the two trunks? to my knowledge the only diff is the screw holes for the lights? am I wrong....but hey man if you can get your car to have the shaved trunk made then maybe that will give ppl the option of which style they would like to go with...normal or shaved

I don't understand... why did you get upset at him about a molded trunk? I don't follow, what's wrong with a molded one?
