Lambo door kit problem.

Ok anyone have the bolt on kit? my kit fit on ok but when i bring the door down and try to close it, it moves and hits against the hook instead of closing. I adjusted the screw a little so the door would not sit higher than it's supposed to but now it almost seems like it bounces or lifts a little when i try to close it. i have to guide it all the way closed and then finish pushing it shut after. it's very annoying. anyone have this problem? or know somehow to fix it?

the kit has been on for 3 days now. it's location is good between the fender and rear fender. i mean up and down is where the problem is. when i go to close to door normaly it seams to lift a little by itself and hit the car insted of closing. it doesn't lift much, but enough to miss the bracket and latch onto it closing the door. yes the fender is back in place and everything is panneled up. if i loosen up the adjusting screw then the door sits too low. maybe i just don't have enough patients with it right now if it needs to be adjusted inch by inch.

blue screw(allen screw) is how far the door opens and red screw (allen screw)is how the door sits. adjusting it just a little bit will change how your door sits when returned to the regular position. if its too high you will hit and the door will spring out. if it is too low it will hit and the door will fall down when you try to open it. find the just right spot and put a lil silicone so it wont move

lol that was quick i guess you didnt get the headers. lol. was i that much of a bad influence

painters tape is your friend. use it to hold your doors in place. just dont do it too tight. lol i did it too tight on my passanger door and now when it gets cold it is like a suction cup on my car. hand tighten all bolts before using a ratchet. check to see if you need to extend your wires. do not let the wires stretch you will eventually cause them to open and cause a short.

cool thanks guys. yea the bottom of my door sticks out so from the driver seat i can look out and see the ground on the passenger side. i'm going to try and loosen all the bolts and slide the door over on the bottom then tighten it back down and see if that works. also it sounds like my problem is the same as you guys mentioned and the door settled too high. i will try to lower it a little bit and see what happens. thanks again. i will put up pics when i get the other door on also.

i dont get it......haha well i do, but only a lil.....

question: ok, so when u said hold ur door in place, do u mean when its shut? unbolt everything when its shut so u kinda have like the closing mold already in place?

ok this is what im plannin to do:
1. take off my fenders (can someone giv me a quick overview of how to do it, like how many nuts/clips i should be taking off/where)

2. leave the door close and take off the bolts that connect the hinge to the fender.

3. take off the bolt that is connected to the door (door still closed)

4. put the kit on (ill figure that out later)

does that sound like a workable plann?????

yup, when the door is shut tape it to your front windshield
then proceed to remove bolts

you need to remove the door stopper first. the little hinge in the middle that stops the door from opening to far. while removing do not let the door go to far or else you will bend the door or fender.

Ok here are pics along with my new present to myself. BTW I am selling my lambo door kit because i don't have time to mess with the adjustment of the doors to make them close smoothly. The thread is in the for sale forum. only $450. ok heres the pics.
